Buwan ng Wika Celebration
A language is very important in society wherein people can communicate and express their feelings with others. This can also affect the way we interact with each other because without it, we barely understand each other. Each country have their different languages, some are used in a particular place and another one is their mostly used language which is their national language.
In the Philippines, "Buwan ng Wika" is celebrated every August. It's a month-long celebration that aims to increase awareness of the different languages found in the country. Languages also reflects the cultures and traditions of people that forms the identity of a specific place or country. By celebrating this, we will be able to appreciate more of our different cultures and traditions that we have.
It's a good thing that all of our languages found here in the Philippines is given an attention rather than celebrating only our national language, that is Filipino. But then, Filipino as our national language is really important, as it serves as our medium to understand each one despite of having different native languages.
