"Pandemic Ka Lang, I am Filipino"

    
   
    For the past months, the outbreak of Corona Virus Disease has led to global health crisis. The virus had spread around the world creating a global pandemic which we are experiencing until now. Because of this, community quarantine had to be implemented in order to prevent the further spread of the virus. Almost all of us were not used to it but we had to follow for our own sake.

    Many have lost their jobs, no money to spend for food. Millions have suffered around the world, and some are still in sorrow for the sudden and unexpected death of their loved ones due to the virus. But this is not stopping us from doing the things that we do in our daily life. To everything that happened, we still have the choice to do what is right and what's best for everyone.

    Amidst this global pandemic, we can still be productive by doing the things that we love or doing what's essential. "If there's a will, there's a way", but this time let's be extra careful and be wise on what we do. As a Filipino youth, a simple compliance to the health protocol can contribute to the society to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As a student, I am still learning, so I could also try to learn more about the virus so that in case bad things occur, I know what I will be doing, and I would inform my family. This way, I am also making myself knowledgeable at the same time.

    Together, we follow the rules and guidelines so that we can lessen the spread of COVID-19, increase the recoveries, and hopefully the virus will be gone for good. But we know that it is a process and it doesn't just happen overnight. So as much as possible we need to strictly follow the rules because this is for our own good.

"MY DREAM, MY FUTURE"

        When I was a kid,  I used to have plenty of dreams, I may not even remember some of it anymore. But most those dreams were just fantasies because I was just kid before. Now, as I'm becoming older and mature, I am now more aware of my environment and becoming more realistic. Not like when I was a kid anymore, although there is still some, nonetheless I now think of realities.             I have a lot of big dreams in my life. I wanted to become either a doctor, scientist, lawyer, pilot or an engineer.           Hi there! My full name is Marius Lorrence Alejon Padua, 16 years of age. I was born on May 13, 2003 at Metro Vigan Cooperative Hospital. Currently studying at Ilocos Sur National High School ; I am a junior high school student, grade 10 student to be exact. I live at Cabanglutan, San Juan, Ilocos Sur and I ride on a bus everytime I go to school and to go home. I already practiced doing it since I was in grade 7 so there's nothing to worry about. Thanks to my parents, they pushed me to study here, instead of studying at San Juan National High School.
