National Disaster Resilience Month “Kahandaan Sa Sakuna’t Pagbabago”
“Tough times don’t last, tough people
do.” –Robert Schuller. As we face all of the disasters that comes to us, we get
stronger every time we survive all of these. The true resilience is not about
how high you have achieved, it’s about how you fought back out of all the
difficulties you’ve been through.
Being ready is one of the most
important thing to do. To be ready is a must because we’ll never know when will
a disaster strike. During a disaster, we should calm ourselves and think of
what to do. Even if it is destructive or not, be sure to be strong and think
smart.
Bad things sometimes last but not for
long, so we need to confront these things with courage and strength. If we
overcome all of these we will be stronger in our life and also the next time we
could encounter another disaster.
