National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill



          
          Performing earthquake drill is not bad, it’s for the sake of everyone in order for us to be prepared. Just like Howard Ruff said, “It wasn’t raining when Noah built the ark.” This means that long before a disaster comes, we should be prepared.
          
          Preparing for a disaster is not the only way we should do, we should also be aware about the happenings around us. We should know the basics when disaster comes, like by doing dock cover and hold. By learning all of these, we also know when and how to apply these things.
       
         “Prevention is better than cure,” so it is better if we are prepared.

        When I was a kid,  I used to have plenty of dreams, I may not even remember some of it anymore. But most those dreams were just fantasies because I was just kid before. Now, as I'm becoming older and mature, I am now more aware of my environment and becoming more realistic. Not like when I was a kid anymore, although there is still some, nonetheless I now think of realities.             I have a lot of big dreams in my life. I wanted to become either a doctor, scientist, lawyer, pilot or an engineer. But I became more realistic and said to myself that I can't be studying all of my life just to learn all of these professions, I just have to choose one.           Hi there! My full name is Marius Lorrence Alejon Padua, 16 years of age. I was born on May 13, 2003 at Metro Vigan Cooperative Hospital. Currently studying at Ilocos Sur National High School ; I am a junior high school student, grade 10 student to be exact. I live at Cabanglutan, San Juan, Ilocos Sur and I ride on a bus everytime I go to school and to go home. I already practiced doing it since I was in grade 7 so there's nothing to worry about. Thanks to my parents, they pushed me to study here, instead of studying at San Juan National High School.
