Celebrating Values Month


          Filipino Values Month is celebrated this November. The celebration is entitled with the theme, "Pamilyang Pilipino Patatagin: Susi sa Paghubog ng Kabataang Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa." All public and private schools nationwide are encouraged by the Department of Education to conduct activities for the Filipino Values Month Celebration. Some of the activities that were carried out were mobile photography, on the spot drawing, bible quiz and more.

          This celebration is all about improving the values of each individuals. The theme is clearly understood that this celebration is advocating Filipinos, especially children to obey our core values. In celebrating Values Month, we don't only perform activities related to the celebration but also having the trait to carry out Good Morals and Right Conduct in our everyday life.

          It's a celebration for us Filipinos to be reminded that values is really important for each individuals to have.  Our values depends on our attitude, on how we act as a person and it is our responsibility to do good to others. Not only for the sake of the celebration that we do good but it should always be consistent.

"MY DREAM, MY FUTURE"

        When I was a kid,  I used to have plenty of dreams, I may not even remember some of it anymore. But most those dreams were just fantasies because I was just kid before. Now, as I'm becoming older and mature, I am now more aware of my environment and becoming more realistic. Not like when I was a kid anymore, although there is still some, nonetheless I now think of realities.             I have a lot of big dreams in my life. I wanted to become either a doctor, scientist, lawyer, pilot or an engineer. But I became more realistic and said to myself that I can't be studying all of my life just to learn all of these professions, I just have to choose one.           Hi there! My full name is Marius Lorrence Alejon Padua, 16 years of age. I was born on May 13, 2003 at Metro Vigan Cooperative Hospital. Currently studying at Ilocos Sur National High School ; I am a junior high school student, grade 10 student to be exact. I live at Cabanglutan, San Juan, Ilocos Sur and I ride on a bus everytime I go to school and to go home. I already practiced doing it since I was in grade 7 so there's nothing to worry about. Thanks to my parents, they pushed me to study here, instead of studying at San Juan National High School. If I don't practice to go far or away from my parents, I will have difficulties in adjusting myself when I will go to college.
