United Towards Development


        This year, United Nations is entitled with the theme, "Indigenous Languages, Matter for Sustainable Development, Peace Building and Reconciliation." This theme illustrates the purpose of the United Nations this year. The theme itself describes the movement for the United Nation to be done.

          As a part of the United Nations, we must be a responsible individual. Each of us has the potential to change for the better, so we must be careful on what we do because it has an impact to our community. Speaking to the theme, we must accept other's languages for us to develop ourselves as one. In order to attain reconciliation, we should respect each other's differences,
 
          We all know that we can't achieve development only by ourselves. We need help from others so that we can improve more because the more, the merrier. They say that no man is an island, even though it's cliche but it is true. We should not live alone, instead we should try to communicate with others and find peace.

"MY DREAM, MY FUTURE"

        When I was a kid,  I used to have plenty of dreams, I may not even remember some of it anymore. But most those dreams were just fantasies because I was just kid before. Now, as I'm becoming older and mature, I am now more aware of my environment and becoming more realistic. Not like when I was a kid anymore, although there is still some, nonetheless I now think of realities.             I have a lot of big dreams in my life. I wanted to become either a doctor, scientist, lawyer, pilot or an engineer. But I became more realistic and said to myself that I can't be studying all of my life just to learn all of these professions, I just have to choose one.           Hi there! My full name is Marius Lorrence Alejon Padua, 16 years of age. I was born on May 13, 2003 at Metro Vigan Cooperative Hospital. Currently studying at Ilocos Sur National High School ; I am a junior high school student, grade 10 student to be exact. I live at Cabanglutan, San Juan, Ilocos Sur and I ride on a bus everytime I go to school and to go home. I already practiced doing it since I was in grade 7 so there's nothing to worry about. Thanks to my parents, they pushed me to study here, instead of studying at San Juan National High School. If I don't practice to go far or away from my parents, I will have difficulties in adjusting myself when I will go to college.
